- Revise the AIDA Rules & Regulations to CAFA language
Work on the rules is ongoing, still waiting for AIDA to post new changes. - Insurance
Need to fill out forms applying for insurance. Will approach three companies. - CAFA clubs pool only competition for Winter 2004: Deep Breath Challenge
Perry will announce The Deep Breath Challenge to the clubs. In Vancouver The Deep Breath Challenge will be held April 15th 8-11pm at SFU. Information will be added to the CAFA website
Tom
- Post CAFA Safety Protocols for Competitions & Records, and Competition Manual. Tom will post all available documents to the CAFA site and will announce when ready.
- Website ‘to do’ list. Tom indicated what his goals are with the CAFA website.
- National Rankings. Weighting needs to be calculated for Team Canada selection, and national rankings.
- Site translation is ongoing for both CAFA’s and World’s site as content is added.
- Build a web front end for the Results page.
- Build a database of volunteers.
- Build a web front end for the Picture of the Week database, and possibly assign it out.
Mandy
- Financials for 2004. Financials are due in April. Currently we have $2918.97 in the bank.
- Partner with Lung Association for 2004 World Championship. Mandy is waiting a response from the contact, who is on vacation.
Helen
- Update CAFA Board and website with January 2004 Executive Minutes. Completed.

Kirk: We need to focus on forming Team Canada. Interested males include: Eric Fattah, Peter Scott, Luc Gosselin, Brent Pascall, and Goh Iramoto. Interested females include: Mandy-Rae Cruickshank, and Jade Leutenegger. - Tom’s meeting with David Rousseau

Kirk and Mandy: Our attendance at the Outdoor Show February 13-15 at BC Place Stadium was well received. Noted that recognition of the sport has greatly increased.
Special thanks to Goh Iramoto, Greg Fee, Greg Hamilton, and Brent Pascall who helped out with the CAFA booth and exhibition dives at the show. - Deep Breath Challenge
Kirk: This event will take place at SFU on April 15th from 8-11 p.m. Ocean Pro Divers (White Rock) will provide scooters and active support. On April 14th there will be an introduction night at Rowand’s Reef.

Kirk: Has been in contact with Bill Coulthard, Courtenay. He’s an EMT/Dive operator who can provide a 38ft boat. Also helping with safety scuba.
Kirk is working on barge availability with various companies. - Opening and Closing Ceremonies
Mandy: Need to firm up the locations as soon as possible. Along with Helen and Greg Hamilton will meet with Teresa at UBC to check cheapest venues for the ceremonies on return from Cayman.
