Airport Transport

The Vancouver International Airport is located south of the city and is serviced by taxi, rental car, city bus and airport limousine.

City Buses

During peak hours (6am-6pm), bus fare from the airport to the athlete’s accomodation at Gage Towers, UBC is $3.00 in coin change. You can change money in the airport. Note: Buses do not accept paper money. During evening hours and weekends, bus fare will be $2.00 for all zones. From the arrivals level, follow the signs to the bus pick up area and catch the “#424 Airport Station” bus, transfer to #98 Express to Vancouver, and then transfer to “#41 UBC” at the intersection of Granville Street and West 41st avenue. Taxi

Taxi fare is approximately $25.00 one-way to the UBC campus from the airport. Hail taxis on the arrivals level of the airport.

Car Rentals

Many major North American car rentals are available from the airport. Check with your travel agent to make reservations. To drive to UBC, use these directions or go to Mapquest.ca.
